Longtime Piscataway resident, Mike Griffith, is Vice-President of Citigroup, Corporate Banking Group. Mike's experience in finance and business is critical in the current economic climate. His professional knowledge enhances the efforts already established to make the Piscataway government work efficiently.

Mike joined the Piscataway Township Council in 2007 and is currently serving as the Township Council Vice-President. He is the Chairman of the Council Finance Committee as well as the Council Public Safety Committee.

Before joining the Council, Mike served as a member of the Piscataway Zoning Board since 2003. He served a term as Vice-Chair for the Board from 2006 to 2007. He is also a member of the Piscataway Rotary Club and was a former secretary and President-Elect for the Club. He is an active member of the North Stelton AME Church. His faith is a driving force in his life. At the North Stelton AME Church he is Vice-Chair of the Board of Stewards. In addition to his faith, Mike has always been involved in sports and with the youth in Piscataway. He managed and coached both Little League and the Middle School Basketball teams.

Councilman Mike Griffith seeks re-election so he can work to bring taxes down and make the Township work even more efficiently. Mike attended Hunter College of the City University of New York. He is married to Margaret "Patsy" Griffith and they have grown children.
