Gabrielle Cahill For Town Council

A New Jersey native, Gabrielle Cahill has been a resident of Piscataway Township for close to a decade. Moving to Middlesex County from Sparta in Sussex County many years ago to study English and Political Science at Rutgers University she decided to remain in Central New Jersey.

Gabrielle Cahill has served as a member of the Piscataway Township Open Space Committee and is especially interested in finding ways for our community to preserve open space and to adopt "eco" friendly ways to conserve energy in our homes and local businesses. Her professional experience in private industry, as a Regional Sales Manager and Analyst with Majesco Entertainment, has involved both national and global expansion. She was involved in transitioning the company she works for from a private entity to a public entity. She was responsible for analyzing and evaluating the company finances. She is ready to apply her private sector skills to local government services.

Dedicated to public service from a young age, Gabrielle attributes her motivation to give back to her community to her parents who instilled those core values at a young age. Gabrielle served as President of the Campus Christian Ministries at Rutgers. She believes that faith has given her an unwavering strength, optimism and has also fostered in her the desire to help others. As a breast cancer survivor her diagnosis has moved her to participate in fundraising activities that bring about awareness and support research efforts.

Gabrielle Cahill seeks the Council-at-Large seat so that she can share her knowledge of business and technology with the Township. Additionally, she will work to enhance and expand the local healthcare and early detection screenings already offered to citizens of Piscataway.

Gabrielle holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and she and her husband Shawn have lived in town for the past eight years.
