From its neighborhoods to its parks to its community programs for all ages, there is something for everyone to enjoy in Piscataway Township! Our community is the jewel of Central New Jersey. Over the years Piscataway Township has changed and progressed and has become one of the most sought after communities to live and raise a family in New Jersey.

Changes in recent years may be subtle in some ways and extremely significant in others. For this reason, "Around Town" is a compilation of subjects that describe what Piscataway has to offer in the year 2008. Changes that have been made over the past eight years were significant enough that several magazines have honored Piscataway with distinctions that set Piscataway apart from other towns in New Jersey.

These honors would not have been possible without the dedication of Mayor Wahler and the members of our Township Council. Thoughtful decisions and careful planning have improved the quality of life for all of Piscataway's residents. Mayor Brian Wahler, along with Council President Ken Armwood, Council Vice President Mike Griffith and Council Candidate Gabrielle Cahill want to continue this work.
